Research Focus – Psychotherapy Science

The faculty’s research profile is based on three main areas of research:

• Basic and clinical research examines the theoretical foundations of psychotherapy and the relationship between therapeutic processes and their outcomes.
• The cultural studies research focus provides a broad cultural, social and historical framework for understanding current issues in mental health.
• Training research focuses on the effectiveness and further development of psychotherapy training programmes.
