PTS | Conference Report: ‘Climate-Related Disasters – Impacts, Management and Resilience’

Over the course of two intensive days, the conference Climate-Related Disasters – Impacts, Coping and Resilience featured a wide range of engaging presentations, thought-provoking discussions and fruitful exchanges. It brought together experts from psychotherapy, the social and cultural sciences, history, politics and technology.

The diversity of contributions – from case studies in affected regions to cultural and social-scientific analyses and technological innovations – underscored the critical importance of interdisciplinary dialogue in disaster research, particularly in view of the climate-related increase in natural hazards. The constructive exchange between speakers and participants during the discussion sessions proved especially valuable.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all speakers, contributors and attendees whose commitment and expertise made this conference possible and ensured its success.
