PTS | With commitment and vision: Andrea Jesser elected dean

Sigmund Freud Private University extends its congratulations to Univ.-Prof. Priv.-Doz. Dr Andrea Jesser on her election as Dean of the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science.

Through this election, the members of the faculty acknowledge Professor Jesser’s outstanding dedication, professional expertise, and leadership qualities — qualities she has already demonstrated in her previous roles as Vice Dean for Teaching and Interim Dean, during which she was deeply committed to the continued development of the faculty.

SFU wishes Dean Jesser every success, fulfilment, and energy in her new term of office, along with continued inspiration in shaping the future of psychotherapy science.

About

Andrea Jesser holds a doctorate in sociology, cultural and social anthropology, and is a psychotherapist for catathymic imaginative psychotherapy with her own practice in Lower Austria. Her research focuses on psychotherapy process and training research, healthcare research, and youth and health research.
