PTS | SFU student Selin Matun honoured with ÖPUK award for start-up Theradocx

Sigmund Freud Private University Vienna (SFU) warmly congratulates its student, Selin Matun, BA, on receiving the Brigitte Hamann Prize awarded by the Austrian Private Universities Conference (ÖPUK) in the “Start-up” category.

Her project, Theradocx, was recognised as the best start-up during a festive ceremony held at Vienna City Hall on 9 April 2026. Theradocx automates the transcription of psychotherapy sessions, generates structured progress reports, and enables further data analysis. Its aim is to significantly reduce the administrative workload of psychotherapists in everyday clinical practice.

The jury was particularly impressed by the project’s combination of a strong scientific foundation, clear practical applicability, and a scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The platform addresses a key challenge in mental healthcare by effectively integrating innovative AI technology with clinical practice.

We are delighted by this outstanding achievement and proud to count such a dedicated and forward-thinking student among our community. We wish Selin Matun every continued success in the future development of Theradocx.
