PTS | New Insights on Corporeality: Three Articles from the SFU Outpatient Clinic in Psychotherapy Forum
In the current Psychotherapie Forum issue on “Psychotherapy and the Body“, three articles on SFU’s outpatient research have been published – a strong signal for the scientific work of the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic of SFU Vienna. The contributions were produced collaboratively under the lead of Dr. Lisa Winter, Mag. Stella Becher-Urbaniak (Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic for Adults), and Dr. Birgitta Schiller (Head of the Institute for Qualitative Psychotherapy Research).
The published articles address key questions concerning corporeality in psychotherapy, focusing on three distinct areas: they explore classical psychoanalytic perspectives, current developments in the field of online therapy, and a specially developed anamnestic procedure for the outpatient setting.
- The body and psyche anamnesis (AKuP)
- Blind spot and corporeality in online group therapy
- The space behind the lens – experiencing the online therapeutic space
The contributions show how body-related aspects also play a central role in the digital setting and how innovative methodological approaches can expand psychotherapeutic practice. The simultaneous publication of three articles in one thematic issue emphasises the relevance and visibility of SFU outpatient research in international scientific discourse.
Congratulations to all the authors involved!
