PTS | Martin Jandl Appointed Associate Professor at SFU Vienna

On 30 April 2026, the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science at SFU Vienna celebrated the formal appointment of Ass.-Prof. Mag. Mag. Dr. Martin Jandl as Associate Professor.

Jandl has been a defining presence at the Faculty for many years – as a researcher, lecturer, and academic leader. In his dual role as Head of the English-language Master’s Programme in Psychotherapy Science and Head of the Institute for Psychotextology and Philosophical Psychotherapy Studies, he bridges rigorous basic research with internationally oriented teaching.

His scholarly work advances experimental and philosophical approaches to psychotherapy science – fields in which he has established a distinctive and recognised voice. His appointment reflects both the depth of his academic contributions and his sustained commitment to developing psychotherapy science as a discipline.

The Faculty extends its warmest congratulations to Martin Jandl on this well-deserved recognition.
